Apparel for the downwardly mobile

Things are a little scary and weird right now, aren’t they? The supply chain is fraying. Society is unraveling. Your student loans grew teeth. But hey: your outfit slaps.

Bankrupt & Co. is not a brand.
It’s not a movement.
It’s a last resort attempt to not die broke.

New designs are released all the time. And by “all the time” we mean “when inspiration strikes.”

Despair: This Exit

The Emotional States of America

The US is going through some stuff right now, and all we have are these lousy t-shirts. Buy a souvenir and let people know where you’ve been.

Shirts & Giggles

Shirts don’t always have to have a message on them. All of these shirts do, but you should know they don’t have to have them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you really bankrupt?

No, not really. But it’s close. This website is one of many projects going on in an attempt to avoid that!

I can’t tell if this is serious. Are there really t-shirts for sale?

Yes! Don’t let the tone of ironic detachment sway you. We could really use the cash, but we’re not begging for it. We have bootstraps, and upper body strength, and we’re lifting ourselves up accordingly.

Are your graphic tees custom made?

Yes! Sort of. They get printed up when you order it, but it’s not like we know a guy.

I love quirky graphic tees. Can you really help me quirk up my torso?

Um, sure. That’s kind of a weird way to put it, though?

Are your funny t-shirts offensive?

Some of them are, for sure! They’re not dirty or vulgar. Our funny Jesus t-shirt, for example, is a gentle humor that doesn’t seek to tear anything down. In fact, it’s basically saying Jesus was charming. Christians will still hate it.

Are your t-shirts good quality?

Yes. We’re kinda weird about the way fabric feels, so we did our research. And by “did our research” we mean “touched the fabric.”

Are your t-shirts high quality?

This is the same question as the one above it. It’s almost as if these questions aren’t asked by customers, but were planted here by the site owners hoping to get more SEO keywords onto this page.
